Quote by DreamTravellerIts unsure. Sure a lot of bad things are happening around the world and are getting worse, but no one can predict the future 100%. The only important time frame is the "now" and what we do. Our destiny is in our own hands. As optimistic as I am saying, its the truth. We do have the optimistic and the pessimistic. But the world works on the non-linear. The way we think is linear. Its just our logic way of thinking.

To overcome problems such as poverty, hunger, not having water, human waste, water, air, sound, light, ground pollution, religion fundamentalism. Hell, more women and girls around the world are being educated than before. But in many parts of the world, more and more women are forced to go into the "informal sector". In the year 2000, 64% of extremely rich people with millions of dollars still feel finacially insecure. This poll was done in U.S private bank. To fix or solve these problems, we have to think differently. This is an extremely hard task to do because we think linear. Einstein said that we cannot solve the significant and major problems we face at the same level of thinking at which we created the problems. And yes, I do think he is right.

I do however wonder which path humanity will take in the coming years. I am not suprised that the many people will say that the world is going to end. It is hard to look at good things with everything going bad. But... people did say that fresh water was going to end in the year 2000 and that only the 5 riches men will have computers.

Whoa, that was a long answer! I'm amazed, most of what you say's very true! And yes, even with all the bad things, the world is still progressing-- sort of... and yes, we CAN make a change :) thanks a lot for commenting on my thread, glad you shared your opinion! Have a nice day and life, au revoir!
